We are pleased to announce that people with hearing loss can benefit from the use of adaptive listening devices at the Jenks Center.
A large area FM system has been installed so that hard of hearing patrons will have individual control over the volume level of the
PA system in the Pond Room. Upon request we will provide a personal listening receiver with headphones or a personal telecoil neck loop
so that users can better hear speakers at the event they are attending. People with hearing loss are encouraged to enjoy this new accessibility
while at Jenks and we look forward to your feedback following your visit. Please let us know if you are planning to try out one of our new receivers.
Contact a member of the administrative staff prior to the event during which you would like to benefit from the enhanced volume devices.
Are you the historian in your family? Do you enjoy preserving pictures of notable family events?
You might be just the person to help to keep a record of activities at the Jenks.
A volunteer is needed to maintain a scrap book of Jenks Center events.
For more information please speak to one of the administrative staff.
