Italian Renaissance with Jane Blair

We welcome Jane Blair back for another enlightening and enjoyable presentation on Italian Renaissance Art.  After almost 1000 years of "dark ages", the genius Leonardo Da Vinci and Michelangelo led the way for a "Rebirth" of learning, art and humanity. They helped to cast a bright new light on culture and to rekindle a love of learning which encouraged sicence, new technology and a growing humanity. Join us for a look at their lives, their work and a discussion of the Italian Renaissance. Jane Blair, owner of Art Matters, earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Boston University and a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Illinois in Champaign/Urbana.
