Join John Saia for the ancient art of Qigong. Qigong is a form of exercise that is designed to improve health in a manner that is consistent with Chinese medicine. While there are countless ways to practice, this workshop will focus on the basics of posture, breathing, and accessible, low-impact movements. Common benefits include reductions in pain, stress, and increased balance. No equipment or prior experience required. Also, in celebration of Earth Day, this workshop will include some earth-related themes in Chinese medicine. John is a Personal Trainer, Tai Chi instructor and Acupuncturist.
