A Victorian Christmas with Diane Taraz

Join Diane Taraz, director of the Lexington Historical Society Colonial Singers, accomplished musician and musical historian, as she explores a Victorian Christmas through the music of Britain's American Colonies. Clad in the elegant clothing of the mid-1800s, Diane will explore the fascinating origins of Christmas songs, presenting them in their original forms, which often differ surprisingly from the versions we sing today. She will accompany her crystal-clear singing on authentic colonial instruments.
