Volunteer Drivers/Jenks Staff Drivers

Travel anywhere in Winchester (medical or errands), or adjacent towns (for medical appointments only). Service available Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. 

Ride requests for Monday and Tuesday must be received prior to 2 p.m. on Thursday of the previous week.

Please call at least two business days in advance to schedule.

Medical Transport

Transportation provided by SCM Door to Door to medical appointments in the greater Boston area Monday through Friday 9am - 4pm. Wheelchair accessible. Jenks vehicles are available for local routine medical appts.

Taxi Vouchers

In partnership with Woburn Checker Cab, taxi vouchers are available to Winchester seniors to purchase at a reduced rate of $5 each at the Jenks Center on Tuesdays, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. or by mail order.

​​Grocery Shopping Trips

Door to door shuttle service to Market Basket in Woburn on Thursday. Pick up starts at 9:30 a.m. Must be able to independently navigate the trip and carry their groceries. Shoppers have 90 minutes to shop.

The Jenks Shuttle

Door to door shuttle service to/from Jenks Center for programming must be scheduled in advance. The Jenks Shuttle also provides transportation for shopping trips, assisted living facility tours, and other destinations, please check the monthly newsletter for trips.

Transportation services are scheduled with the Transportation Coordinator, Sue Clark 781-721-7136 ext. 17. Monday - Thursday 9am - 4pm only.
