About the Event
Join Neil for a presentation on the basics of mindfulness, its foundations, and its many benefits. He will talk about how mindfulness plays a key role in stress reduction, overall well-being, and the ability to navigate life’s challenges in practicaland skillful ways. Neil teaches mindfulness-based programs in his retirement, having been trained to do so at the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care and Society at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. A graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School, Neil came to mindfulness practice in law school. He is a retired lawyer, having been a partner at Nutter, McClennen & Fish LLP and then Senior Conflicts Counsel at Ropes & Gray LLP.
