Caregivers Group: Touch Free Fall Technology: Thursday, November 13 (no 28 session due to Thanksgiving): 11:00 -12:15 PM: A safe place where caregivers can learn from and share common experiences with other participants who are caring for elderly family members. Join educational guest speaker Mark Drumney from Staar Fall Detection will join us with a demonstration and overview of the new touch free technology to detect falls at home.
Passive Monitoring utilizes remote and non-wearable sensors to detect falls at all times, track average sleep time, and in and out of bed activity. Its customizable analytics can be tailored to any care plan to track location, presence, and time of falls, as well as minor falls before a catastrophic fall occurs.
