HYBRID: Vision Support Group: Guest Speaker:The Senior Medical Patrol

This month our presenter Jackie Stern will be bringing the important message of the Massachusetts Senior Medicare Patrol program on how to avoid becoming a victim of health care errors, fraud, and abuse.

If you are having trouble learning to live with vision loss, or want to meet other people who are also dealing with vision related problems, a support group can be a valuable resource.  Participants often experience less depression and develop a more positive attitude about their ability to function and lead normal, productive lives.  They value an atmosphere where they can discuss aspects of living with vision loss with people who understand. This month, our presenter Jackie Stern will be bringing the important message of the Massachusetts Senior Medicare Patrol program on how to avoid becoming a victim of health care errors, fraud, and abuse to the Jenks Center. The Vision Exchange Group can be a great resource for people living with any level of vision loss providing peer support and information around vision changes. This group meets the third Thursday each month. For added convenience participants may attend either in person or virtually. All are welcome.
