JENKS CENTER: Improvisational Quilting with Denise Konicek

Are you ready to go beyond the cookie-cutter patterns and have a quilting adventure? The improvisational process is fun for the quilter who is not timid about cutting and stitching without a set pattern and would enjoy the thrill of designing “on the go”. Artist/quilter Denise Konicek will guide your traditional, classical quilting skills and bring you beyond the grid to explore this new means of expression. Bring your sewing machine and learn different techniques for improvisational piecing, select your style and fabrics to create a quilt top or piece of art. A list of supplies is available upon registration. Space limited.
