About the Event
Two unlikely misfits find each other in this obscure but funny 2008 romantic comedy/drama. A struggling writer misses his plane to New York while attending his daughter’s wedding in London, and thus loses his job. While drowning his sorrows in the airport pub, Harvey (Dustin Hoffman) meets Kate (Emma Thompson) an unhappy government worker stuck in an endless cycle of meaningless work and blind dates.
