About the Event
Join McCall’s 6th graders in their library to discuss this month’s book, As Brave as You by Jason Reynolds. Eleven-year-old worrywart Genie and his big brother, Ernie, leave Brooklyn to live with their grandparents in rural Virginia. They feel as though they have been dropped on another planet. These city boys experience very different way of life. Registration required for attending this event. Space limited to 15 Jenks patrons.
