About the Event
Did Jesus of Nazareth really exist? If so, what did he look like? What kind of light can other ancient textual sources outside of the Bible shed on this topic? Just about everyone in our modern world has heard of the figure of Jesus. Yet while he is perhaps the most well-known human in history, it may be surprising to learn there is little physical and written material that demonstrate he was a real, which has led some in recent decades to doubt he existed—rather, he was a made-up character used to promote a new form of religious belief by Paul and other early “Christians.” Join biblical scholar and archaeologist Nate Ramsayer as we survey the body of evidence on a quest to learn if Jesus was, in fact, a real person.
