About the Event

Please join Dr. Patwa, Director of the Sleep Disorders Center at Winchester Hospital, for a discussion of the effects of neurologic conditions on sleep quality and sleep related behavior.  The potential harbinger of and contribution to Dementia and Parkinson's disease.  Also, the relationship of sleep disorders with memory and learning. The logic for early detection and treatment of sleep disorders Hope you can join us!


Dr Patwa has been on staff at Winchester Hospital since 1998. Currently medical director of the Sleep Disorders Center since 2005. He has trained at Albert Einstein College of medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx.  He is board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine and previously certified in critical care medicine.  He is self-taught and board-certified in sleep disorders medicine.
