Sociological Book Club, Thursday, March 26, 11:00 am: Join Tony Corsentino of Winchester Public Library to discuss this month’s book selection “A Flower Traveled in My Blood” by Haley Cohen Gilliland. This poignant nonfiction book features the courageous Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo—grandmothers in Argentina searching for their grandchildren who were abducted by the military junta. These heroic women marched weekly, confronted officials and pioneered genetic testing to identify their grandchildren.
