Solo Ager Network: Making the MOst of Your Medicare Part B Benefits for Healthy Aging: Wednesday September 16, 1:30 – 3:00 pm
Medicare can be confusing, but understanding your coverage is essential to getting the care you need. Just in time for Open Enrollment, this presentation will provide a clear, straightforward breakdown of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D, including how Medicare Advantage plans differ from traditional Medicare. Physical therapist and wonder of Healthy Aging Physical Therapy, Dr. Katie Wadland, PT, DPT, Board-Certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist will also explain how Medicare Part B works for outpatient rehabilitation services - what’s covered, what “skilled therapy” means, and how to advocate for your care whether you’re recovering from illness, managing a chronic condition, or maintaining your independence through maintenance therapy.
