Sondheim with Gail Leondar-Wright

Join Gail for a session on the late Stephen Sondheim, the most important musical theater composer and lyricist of the past fifty years.  Session #1 will be “An introduction to Stephen Sondheim” with a close look at his most popular song, “Send in the Clowns.”  This class will demonstrate methods one might use to scrutinize any of Sondheim’s compositions. Gail holds an MA in Performance Studies from New York University and a BA in Drama from The University of California at Berkeley.
