About the Event
Debra Block will be presenting “The Cotton Club”. Learn about its significant contribution to the Jazz Age of the 1920’s. Listen to why the Club was a “white only” venue but had entertainers who were primarily black. Ella Fitzgerald, Lena Horne, the Nicholas Brothers, Bill “BoJangles Robinson & other great artists got their start there! Come groove to the music & sounds of the Cotton Club.
