What does the Bible say about the end of the world? What is an apocalypse? Who is “The Beast” mentioned in this story? Are we actually living in the final days? What is the battle of Armageddon? Are there other ancient depictions of the end times, and how do they differ?
Join biblical scholar and archaeologist Nate Ramsayer as we delve into this mysterious and bizarre text from 2,000 years ago. We will explore the structure of the book, and discuss the historical context and meaning of some of the allusions mentioned in the text, including the infamous number “666.” This will be the sixth installment of his eight-part course Introduction to the New Testament.
