What is an Accessory Dwelling Unit?

Are Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) allowed in Town? What is an ADU, isn’t that also called a “granny flat”? Could ADUs relieve housing costs on current residents? Come and learn and engage in a discussion with fellow interested residents on how ADUs could work in Winchester. Representatives from neighboring communities and other housing experts/advocates will be part of this first discussion to explore the concept of ADUs in Winchester.
