Zentangle with Susan McFarlane

Join us for a class on Zentangle, a method of meditative art making. Each creation is personal and allows you to relax, increase hand-eye coordination, and connect with others in a creative, positive atmosphere. No previous art experience or skill is required. Each student’s drawing is unique to them and then viewed with others is altogether something amazing. 

Originally from the South Shore of Massachusetts, Susan went west for college earning a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Brigham Young University. Her education continued with a Post Baccalaureate Certificate from Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and a Museum Studies Master’s Degree from Harvard Extension. While working as a graphic designer, she often created illustrations for clients using a variety of different techniques. Continuing her love of learning, she became a Certified Zentangle® Teacher (CZT) in 2019. In addition to Zentangle, Susan teaches Drawing, and Watercolor painting.
