Meet the Staff

Nick Asaro

Nick Asaro


Nick, a lifelong resident of Winchester, graduated from Winchester High School. Employed at the Jenks for over seven years, he manages the part-time facilities staff to ensure that the Jenks is well maintained and sparkles.  He is the father of James and enjoys fishing and golfing.

Phil Beltz

Phil Beltz


Phillip, born in Baltimore, Md., has lived throughout the country in several communities in 7 states.  With a BA in Cultural Anthropology from Towson State University and MSW in Social Work/Social Policy from the University of Pennsylvania, most of his professional career has been with local governments (City of Philadelphia and Town of Southold) as well as non-profit management, addressing issues of poverty, homelessness and healthcare that includes working with older adults. In all of his work Phillip has emphasized the importance of improving outcomes as well as recognizing ones’ dignity and inspiring those with hope.  He finds working at the Jenks Center enlightening with so many interesting patrons who appreciate the great programs and services that it provides to improve the lives of older adults.

Sue Clark


After working in healthcare for twelve years, Sue switched gears, attended culinary school, graduated with a Professional Chefs Diploma and worked as a pastry chef.  She then decided to stay at home to raise her two daughters. While at home, volunteer work and a passion for art developed into leadership roles within several local organizations, providing many new skills useful today as Transportation Coordinator. When not at the Jenks, Sue enjoys quilting, traveling and spending time with my family.


Hilary Celentano


Hilary has been teaching at independent living and senior centers for 20 years. She created the FABBS Exercise Program, Pooja People, the Stoneham Historical Walk, and the 30-Day YouTube Exercise Challenge, now enjoyed in several countries around the world.  Hilary also enjoys teaching yoga and Tai Chi. She brings her event planning skills from her work with Walk Boston, Safe Routes to School, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, the Stoneham Historical Society, the Stoneham School System, and the Town of Stoneham. She also serves as the “artist in residence” with Haywardville Art Studio. Hilary and her husband reside in Stoneham and enjoy traveling to family in the US as well as other countries.


Diane Davies


As the former Community Liaison and Event Coordinator for the Winchester Seniors Association, Diane implemented programs and events to bring people together at the Jenks and acted as a bridge between the center and area non-profits.  She earned an Event Management certificate from UMass Amherst and a BA from West Chester University in PA.  Diane is a lifelong multi-disciplinary artist and former freelance photojournalist for the Winchester Star.  A native of Philadelphia she now calls Winchester home.

Vickie Drougas

Vicki Drougas


Vicki is a Winchester native and  has been working with town hall for the past twenty years in various departments which included the Treasurer’s Office, Town Clerk, Board of Health and Retirement.  She was the Secretary for both the Finance Committee and Capital Planning Committee.  Vicki enjoys reading, spending time with her family and friends and traveling.

Suzanne Norton

Suzanne Norton


Suzanne is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 17 years’ experience at Council on Aging Centers. Specializing in older adults and end of life care Suzanne uses that experience to support and enrich the lives older adults providing beneficial information and referral services, short term case management/counseling, facilitating various specialized support groups for individuals and their families dealing with life changes and events. In her free time, she enjoys playing the Ukulele and singing and spend time with her family and three children.

Maria Rutnam 

Maria graduated with a Master’s Degree in Psychology and has worked in various organizations that cater to the wellbeing of the most vulnerable population.  She regards her prior position as an Activity Director as the most rewarding experience she has ever had.  She hopes to continue working to better the lives of those who have played a vital role in making this community a great place to live in.  When not working she is an avid reader and loves traveling and exploring new places and cultures.

Patti Santos


Patti, a graduate of Merrimack College in Marketing, worked at Hill Holiday advertising agency and MicroTouch.  She has three grown children. Patti is also a life-long resident of Winchester.  When not at the Jenks, she enjoys hiking, biking, spending time with friends and family, scuba diving, traveling, reading, and attending lectures.

Cathleen Schneller


Cathleen grew up in Fairfield, CT and moved to Massachusetts to attend Boston College where she received a BA in Economics. After a career in Commercial Real Estate Investment, she decided to stay home to raise her two children. During this time, she volunteered, including the front desk position at the Jenks Center, before joining the Jenks staff. Cathleen has lived in Winchester for the past 15 years and enjoys spending time with family, walking in the Fells and traveling.

Colleen Wages


Colleen, a registered nurse for over 25 years, has worked in many areas of nursing including a pediatrics, OR, medical ICU and home care.  Colleen enjoys working with older adults and has a special interest in dementia and cognitive impairment. She recently became a Certified Dementia Practitioner. When not at the Jenks, Colleen enjoys spending time her family and two dogs, a pug and a long-haired dachshund.
