Cholesterol Clinic at Palmer and Westley Housing Complexes

PALMER ST 8:30-10:00am and WESTLEY ST 10:15-11:30 am Fasting Cholesterol Clinic, Tuesday,  August 24th. In order to get tested, you must have been diagnosed by a medical professional with anemia or hypercholesterolemia (high cholesterol). Testing is done using finger stick method. If opting for the cholesterol check, you must be fasting for a minimum of 8 hours prior to your appointment time. Educational materials will be available with information on diet and exercise modification in attempt to lower cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart disease. You may also participate in our optional Jenks 6 Week Cholesterol Challenge which includes daily food journal, food and exercise guidelines, recipe booklet, and a grocery gift card to help you on your way! (To participate in the challenge, you are required to get your cholesterol checked again at the Jenks at the  6 week interval. Max number of participants is 30)
