About the Event
Join our host Andrew Celentano, a talented local pianist and composer himself, for an interesting interview with Bruce Posner, expert, and archivist for Andrew Violette’s life work. Andrew Violette (1953-2021) was a New York City based composer, pianist, organist, and synthesizer player. He was active as a solo recitalist, accompanist, and recording artist. He composed over 90 works leaving a legacy of wonderful music. Bruce Posner, friend of the composer for 46 years, witnessed the creation of many of Violette’s works. Bruce is preparing an archive of Violette’s writings and performances for posterity. Register to obtain the Zoom link.
