The start of a new year is always a good time to reflect on the past and consider plans for the future; this includes reviewing your estate plan to ensure it still accomplishes your goals. Or perhaps you don’t have an estate plan and this new year is when you finally put on paper what those wishes are! Whether you have been putting off executing an estate plan for years or have changes to an existing plan you’ve been thinking about for a while, this seminar will give you a refresher on the basics and help you decide whether any changes to your current documents are in fact necessary. We’ll discuss the reasons for executing a Health Care Proxy, Power of Attorney, and Will, and why some of life’s changes, or changes in the law, might lead to revisit your current plan.
