SHINE is an acronym for “Serving the Health Needs of Elders.” SHINE Counselors are volunteers who provide information, counseling, and assistance regarding health insurance and health-benefit options. Our counselor understands the nuances of health insurance and is here to help seniors maneuver their way through the health insurance system.
